Type Explorations / Video / 1 min. Type Explorations is an exploration of typography integrated with video. The original concept for Type Explorations was about a man overcoming his struggle with writer’s block. As the man wanders through
the neighbourhood, inspiration from the city surroundings follow him home. At this point the video takes a new direction and ends abruptly, leaving the audience to interpret their own conclusion. The escalating and dramatic soundtrack insinuates a not-so-pleasant ending... During the video editing process a great deal of experimentation was explored. The video’s high contrast colouration and unique framing enhance the video’s cold and eerie mood.
